The Green ChoiceYou can enhance your Quadrant home even further by choosing from several Energy Star Certified choices at the New Home Showroom. Homeowner Testimonial“It's been a great and fun experience overall. I love my quadrant home.” Dan and Maria Serrano - Autumn Woods |
Quadrant homes are built green. Quadrant Homes is a pioneer in establishing the Built Green program in the Seattle area. Protection and preservation of the Pacific Northwest's precious natural resources is an important priority for Quadrant Homes. That's why every home we build is constructed to Built Green standards, as are our Redmond Ridge and Snoqualmie Ridge master planned communities. This means state-of the art construction methods are used to exceed already stringent government environmental protection standards, including conservation of energy, improved air quality, conserved water, recycled materials and preserved natural resources. Here are just some of the ways we stay "green":
Cascade Land ConservancyQuadrant has a strong partnership with the Cascade Land Conservancy, a nonprofit land conservation organization. That's why we offer every one of our homebuyers a free membership to the Conservancy, in addition to making a donation to the organization for every home we sell. Quadrant has also worked with CLC to form and execute a very successful public-private partnership - the Snoqualmie Preservation Initiative - providing additional housing in East King County while preserving more than 9,000 acres of forest.
Energy Star® PartnerAlready the largest Energy Star certified builder in the Puget Sound region, Quadrant Homes is proud to announce that we are the very first Washington homebuilder to offer you homes qualifying for the new Energy Star Homes Northwest program. This newer, more rigorous environmental standard was created because progressive Washington and Oregon state energy codes were among the most stringent in the nation and exceed Energy Star specifications used in most other parts of the country. Choosing the option of building a Quadrant Home to these new efficiency standards can potentially save you hundreds of dollars per year in energy bills. Moreover, you can enjoy a more comfortable living space, more consistent temperatures across rooms and improved air quality. This would be due to higher efficiency heating and cooling equipment, tightly sealed ductwork, high-performance Energy Star qualified windows, more insulation and Energy Star qualified appliances and lighting. Best of all, you'll be helping the Pacific Northwest's environment stay just as it is - beautiful. Even if you don't choose to have your home Energy Star certified, please note that you can still elect to have Energy Star certified appliances or a high-efficiency furnace. Regardless of your choice, the team at our New Home Showroom can explain the Energy Star choice to you and show how you can save on your utility bills each month. |
