The winner, voted on by visitors to the Renter Revolution Web site – www.LoseTheRent.com – receives $1,000 cash. Video submissions are due by August 30 and judging takes place in September. Quadrant Homes can help contestants shoot their videos at this weekend’s Bite of Seattle, July 17, 18 and 19 at Seattle Center. Video equipment will be available at the Quadrant Home booth, just north of the Fisher Beer Garden, where trained videographers will capture and submit renter horror stories from anyone wanting to participate in the Renter Revolution. While renting a home is the right decision for some, many families desire to own a home that fits their needs and allows them to invest in the asset instead of paying rent. For those people, Quadrant Homes offer a terrific option, from a complete set of services to help buyers navigate the homebuying process, to delivering upon the company’s promise of offering more house for less money. “There are lots of reasons renters are considering purchasing a home right now, ranging from special offers from Quadrant Homes to exceptionally low mortgage interest rates,” said Brent Howard, director of sales for Quadrant Homes. “The Quadrant Homes Renter Revolution contest is an entertaining way to remember some of the humorous downsides of renting.” To assist buyers throughout the homebuying process, Quadrant Homes offers its Homebuyer Solutions program. This free service provides personal counsel on topics such as the importance of credit scores, how to improve credit scores and the process of qualifying for a mortgage. A complementary Credit Solutions program helps homebuyers monitor and understand how their credit history impacts their ability to qualify for a loan. Participants may receive free credit checks and analyses of their individual credit profiles, including advice on how to repair poor scores, which may be a major hindrance to buying a new home in Washington. Both the Homebuyer Solutions and Credit Solutions programs are free to the public whether or not participants intend to purchase a Quadrant Home. About Quadrant Homes |
